LSC General English

Do you want to improve your reading, writing, listening and speaking? If so, our General English courses are the right choice for you!

General English courses are for students aged 16 years and older and are offered all year round at all times of the day. Your progress will be monitored throughout your course, and we will regularly assess whether you are able to progress to the next level.
 
LSC Standard General English
 
LSC Standard General English is our most popular course. It it a full-time course of 15 hours per week that is well balanced, so that you improve your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. You can study Standard General English in the morning or in the afternoon.
 

LSC Premium and Gold General English

The LSC Premium (20 hours per week) and Gold (25 hours per week) General English courses allow you to combine our Standard General English with one or two modules, each of 5 hours per week.

  • Nine levels of English - We have nine levels of English, from Beginners to Proficiency. This is more than many other language schools, and means that we have exactly the right level of English for you so you can maximise your progres. Our levels are:
  • Dynamic classes - Our teaching methodology has been developed over many years of experience and is designed to ensure that you are able to improve your English in the most effective way. We teach our students to write, understand and communicate in English, which is the only language used in the classroom.
  • Interesting class content - Our weekly programme contains a well-balanced range of activities with adequate provision for homework based on material taught in class. Lessons include activities done by the class as a whole and also group work and pair work, giving students the maximum possible opportunity to practice and develop their skills in English.  
  • Flexibility - Our continuous enrolment system means that you can study as long as you like, and for most courses, you can start your class on any Monday during term time.
