IELTS Evening Classes

What is it?

The LSC IELTS evening course is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
It is a 6 week course starting on Tuesday 16 June 2009.
 
What are the key features of the course?
 
The course allows students to:

• become familiar with the format of the IELTS exam
• improve their exam technique
• practise the kind of questions they will have to answer in the exams
• take practice exam papers
• receive constructive feedback to increase their chances of success
• develop academic language skills
• focus on the areas of English that need the most improvement
• have access to a wide range of online learning resources

Who is the IELTS course for?

The course is aimed at people that

• are currently living in London
• wish to enter a British University or Higher Education institution for either undergraduate or postgraduate degree courses
• students who need a proven level of English for work and career purposes both here in the UK and Overseas.

Foreign students who wish to study at a British university usually need to attain an IELTS score before they are accepted onto the course. Some professional organisations in the UK also require foreign practioners whose first language is not English to achieve an IELTS score. For full details, please visit the IELTS website.
 
When can I take the IELTS examination? 
Students can take the IELTS exam in London any month. Applications must usually be made one month in advance and cost £88. We can help students book a place at an exam centre. Results usually arrive approximately two weeks after the exam is taken.
 
What is the price?
The LSC IELTS Evening Course is only £109, plus a one-off Registration Fee of £25!
